Network Miner

I don't really like magazines because they (as they try to get money out of them) blur the line between content and advertising more and more (just recently I picked up an issue of Wired and it was incredible how much advertising is in it). Also, in the case of electronic magazines delivered in the form of PDF's, the two column layout makes it near-impossible for me to read articles.

Insecure magazine is free, so I can't complain too much. Also I found information about a nice tool in it: Network Miner.

This is a nice little tool (for Windows, but most probably it will run just fine with Wine) which reads a saved capture (pcap) file and creates a graphical summary of it. Check out the screenshots for more details.
