It is incredible. Despite the efforts of the RIAA (EMI, Sony, Universal and Warner) or the MPAA (Sony, Walt Disney, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Universal and Warner) their content can be found fairly easily on the "intertubes".
And you don't even have to download torrents or ther such "advanced" things. There are a plethora of "youtube like" sites out there (many of them hosted in China, where American corporations have very little leverage) having up-to-date TV shows in reasonable quality streaming through flash players. So all you need is a web browser and some search-engine-fu.
In the meantime what do the movie studios do? They don't even let you watch the content if you are outside of the USA. I would watch them complete with ads or possibly pay a reasonable amount of money for it. But no, I don't live in the correct country...
Good thing there is quality content out there for free.
